3. Drag and drop spreadsheet information
Once the page loads, the report will be blank. Datasets can contain many different metrics for analysis. For Mapline to understand which column data you are wanting to display on the report in different locations, you will need to assign the spreadsheet data in “Fields” to “Row Fields,” “Column Fields,” and “Value Fields.” For each of these three specific fields, there will need to be at least one spreadsheet header contained within. However, you do not need to assign all the spreadsheet “Fields” to be either “Row,” “Column,” or “Value.” When you hover over a field you would like to appear on the chart, six blue dots will appear. Click and drag those dots to pull that spreadsheet data into the field of your choice.
