Manage account storage and ensure you have enough room for future uploads.
Where to see my account limits
1. Navigate to subscription
Log in and click on your profile in the top right corner. Select “Subscription” from the drop down menu.
2. See Usage Details
Under your subscription information you will see information on what your limits within Mapline are. how much of each limit you have used. If it says “0 of 2 datasets” this indicates that you are permitted up to two datasets on your current subscription, and you currently have no datasets in your account. For an explanation of each category, see below.
Limit Types:
Datasets
Datasets are either created manually or by uploading a spreadsheet to Mapline.
For a Geospatial Starter account, each dataset can have up to 500 rows of data. If you need to manage your datasets, click on the Mapline logo in the top left and select “Datasets”.
Visualizations
Visualizations include:
Maps
Routes
Charts
Graphs
Reports
Forms
Views
Metrics
This limit only counts visualizations that are currently saved to your account. You can view each type of visualization respectively by opening the corresponding library. To view your different libraries, click on the Mapline logo in the top left and select the visualization type you would like to see from the drop-down.
Locations
Locations are the number of data rows that you can geocode, or plot on a map, per day. This includes:
Any location in an exsisting dataset that is updated and re-geocoded
Any location that is mapped using the search bar — this all locations searched for on private, public, and embedded maps
Any pins added to your map using the drop one-by-one tool that are added to your dataset library
Users
Users are the number of account seats that are included in your current account. If you need to increase the total number of users available on your account, contact our sales team or your account manager. More information about user types and how to add users can be found in our article on account users.
Data Collection Columns
Data collection columns are data added to datasets and territories. This includes:
Calculated columns
Distance calculations
Aggregations
Counts
Lookup values
Demographic data
Mapline meta data
Categorizations on data values
Optimized route data
Territory data
In short, anything found under the “add data” option counts towards this limit.
