What are the Different Account Limits

Manage account storage and ensure you have enough room for future uploads.

Limit Types:

datasets Datasets
Datasets are either created manually or by uploading a spreadsheet to Mapline. For a Geospatial Starter account, each dataset can have up to 500 rows of data. If you need to manage your datasets, click on the Mapline logo in the top left and select “Datasets”.
visualizations Visualizations
Visualizations include:
  • Maps
  • Routes
  • Charts
  • Graphs
  • Reports
  • Forms
  • Views
  • Metrics
This limit only counts visualizations that are currently saved to your account. You can view each type of visualization respectively by opening the corresponding library. To view your different libraries, click on the Mapline logo in the top left and select the visualization type you would like to see from the drop-down.
locations Locations
Locations are the number of data rows that you can geocode, or plot on a map, per day. This includes:
  • All rows uploaded from a spreadsheet with location data
  • Any location in an exsisting dataset that is updated and re-geocoded
  • Any location that is mapped using the search bar — this all locations searched for on private, public, and embedded maps
  • Any pins added to your map using the drop one-by-one tool that are added to your dataset library
users Users
Users are the number of account seats that are included in your current account. If you need to increase the total number of users available on your account, contact our sales team or your account manager. More information about user types and how to add users can be found in our article on account users.
data collection columns Data Collection Columns
Data collection columns are data added to datasets and territories. This includes:
  • Calculated columns
  • Distance calculations
  • Aggregations
  • Counts
  • Lookup values
  • Demographic data
  • Mapline meta data
  • Categorizations on data values
  • Optimized route data
  • Territory data
In short, anything found under the “add data” option counts towards this limit.
