US Zip Code Maps

How to Create US Zip Code Maps

You can easily create a map of US zip codes by state using Mapline. Zone Improvement Plan, more commonly known as ZIP, was first implemented in 1963. The United States Postal Service (USPS) coined the term to simply represent a more efficient and faster way of delivering mail by dividing all addresses into specified coded areas. Today, in addition to the postal service, thousands of companies and individuals use US zip code maps for data collection, sales and marketing campaigns, and much more.
Using Mapline, you can easily create zip code maps. A map of US zip codes can help you identify untapped market and growth opportunities. By gathering zip code data from your customers and plotting it visually, you can discover consumer segments that belong to different ZIP codes and use that data to learn about their demographics and lifestyle characteristics. The insights you gather from this consumer research can help you make important decisions about your business, such as which customers from certain zip codes are visiting your branches and which services they take advantage of while they’re there. Use the information you obtain from zip code maps to decide where to invest in opening additional locations, whether you should consider offering further services in certain areas and more.
