An entry-level job that matters – It has been only a single year since our shift in target customers, and almost 80% of our largest accounts have been closed in the past year. As a result, we are further changing how we do sales at Mapline, bringing an even greater emphasis to creating personalized solutions. You will immediately have a direct effect on Mapline’s success. Your goal is to create and qualify opportunities for our Account Executives. You will work with potential customers as well as new Mapline users and website visitors to 1) dive deep into their situation to understand their needs, 2) think critically and identify solutions using Mapline’s platform, and 3) qualify the opportunity and oversee a smooth transition to the Account Executives. With our streamlined, tight-knit team, you will also regularly have the ability to weigh in on company discussions and share your opinions with the senior team members and the CEO.
Trailblazer – As you work with Mapline’s contact funnel and current users, your insights will be invaluable as we seek to capture more and more of the market. As we ramp up internal qualification and targeting, you will play a major role in determining best practices when it comes to relationship building and lead conversion. You will own the initial contact portion of our sales strategy, so you need to be driven, perceptive, and confident. You will be expected to think on your own and find ways to improve the entire process. This position can lead to numerous other opportunities within Mapline, including Sales, Marketing, Development, etc.
You have to be hungry. We have an extremely high standard we uphold and a carefully protected culture of passion and drive. You need to exhibit a strong character resembling the Mapline “Bearings.” Other qualifications include:
Sales or customer service experience preferred
Experience in SAAS sales/support preferred
Ability to manage large and diverse pipelines of sales leads
Ability to apply independent judgement to customer solutions
Critical thinking skills to fully comprehend and discover customers’ unique needs
Ability to manage time wisely and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent telephone and written communication skills
Honesty and integrity are a priority
Reliability and consistency are a must
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, etc.
Become an expert in Mapline products and master all the product capabilities
Be the first point of contact for new and perspective clients to help increase interest through discovery and education
Assist and consult customers with individual use cases
Respond promptly to inquiries by communicating with customers through various channels (Phone, chat, email, video call)
Manage and stay on top of your pipeline of contacts and leads
Identify and qualify potential sale opportunities for our Account Executives
Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times
Identify and report system bugs
Contribute as a team player and exhibit professional verbal and written communication skills
