August might be winding down summer, but Mapline is just getting started. This month’s updates are built to give you smarter workflows, more flexible calendars, and stronger filters, so you can keep operations running smoothly and confidently. Whether you’re managing schedules, automating processes, or fine-tuning your data, these upgrades deliver precision right where you need it most. Let’s jump into what’s new!
Workflow Power Boost
Workflows just got a serious upgrade, making automation even more powerful and flexible. This month, we’ve introduced new tools that let you loop actions, trigger events based on device location, and build smarter, more dynamic processes. These updates are all about giving you more control while reducing repetitive, manual work. Whether you’re managing field operations, coordinating deliveries, or tracking service teams, workflows can now adapt to the way your business truly runs. With these improvements, you’ll save time, cut down on errors, and make sure every detail is handled automatically.
Device-Based Triggers
We just introduced even more device-based conditions in Workflows, giving you the option to trigger actions based on IP address coordinates or device coordinates. This means your automations can fire off only when a user’s device is in a specific location or region.
For example, you could set up a workflow that automatically updates a dataset when a technician checks in from a job site, or trigger a confirmation email when a delivery driver’s device enters a designated service area. These location-aware triggers bring a whole new level of precision and context to your automations.

Action Loops in Workflows
Workflows just became even more powerful with the introduction of Action Loops. This feature allows you to repeat workflow actions multiple times without rebuilding or duplicating steps. You can configure loops around Dataset Rows (choosing a dataset, applying filters, or sorting rows) or use Confirm and Repeat to display a confirmation message before running the next cycle.
This makes workflows smarter, more dynamic, and able to handle complex tasks with ease. Imagine cycling through a list of jobs, confirming each step, and updating datasets automatically—everything runs smoothly without manual intervention.

Exportable, Filtered Calendars
Calendars now come with two highly-requested upgrades: the ability to export calendars as images and the ability to save filter presets. Exporting lets you capture and share your schedules in a quick, polished format—perfect for reporting or team communication. Saving filter presets means you can switch between views instantly, without resetting your filters every time. These updates make your calendars far more versatile, whether you’re planning logistics, tracking fieldwork, or managing customer appointments. With these tools, you can customize your calendars once and reuse your settings whenever you need them.
