  Mapline Attribution Guidelines
Sometimes you make something so awesome in Mapline that you just have to share it. Awesome! We love hearing that people want to put Mapline everywhere! Depending on how you share it, you will want to make sure that you are following the proper legal notices and whatnot. But don’t worry, this guide is here to help!

Trademarks and Logos

First, make sure that the Mapline logo and other Mapline trademarks are visible on anything you create. Whether you embed a map on a website, or export a dashboard, the Mapline logo or trademark will automatically be on all Mapline maps, charts, dashboards, and other visualizations. Just make sure it doesn’t get cropped or covered!

Mapline Data

With visualizations you create, Mapline will automatically include any additional attribution if it’s required. The text that appears in the bottom right corner of our maps is a classic example of that. When you create or export a Mapline visualization (i.e. map, chart, etc.) and Mapline has included some additional source references, you will want to check those sources to make sure you can use the visualization the way you want, such as putting it on mailers or inside a book.
