How to Create Optimized Routes on a Map

Save money and time by optimizing your routes! You can easily create an optimized route by following these steps:
  1. Open your map.
  2. Click “Add.”
  3. Select “Routes.”
  4. Select “Optimize from existing pins.”
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Click the mouse to draw a polygon around all the pins you wish to include in the route.
  7. Select “Next.”
  8. Select a start point by selecting a pin on the map (inside or outside the polygon you drew), clicking a place on the map, or typing in an address.
  9. Select “Next.”
  10. Select an end point with any of the options used for the starting point, or skip it. This will use the pin furthest away from the starting point as the end point.
  11. Select “Next.”
  12. Enter a name for your route.
  13. Click “Style” to edit the color and opacity of the route.
  14. Select “Done.”
  15. Click on the line between the stop points to see the steps of the route.
  16. Select “Print” in order to have the directions in a PDF format.
If you don’t have pins for the route you need, then you can quickly get an optimized route by following these steps:
  1. Open your map.
  2. Click “Add.”
  3. Select “Routes.”
  4. Select “Create stops one-by-one.”
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Click the mouse on all of the points you want to stop at.
  7. Click “Style” to edit the color and opacity of the route.
  8. Select “Done.”
  9. Click on the line between the stop points to see the steps of the route.
  10. Select “Print” in order to have the directions in a PDF format.
