Create custom territories to track company performance in seconds!
1. OPEN YOUR MAP
You can open your map by single clicking the name, double clicking anywhere on the row, or by single clicking on the row and clicking the “Open” button. If you don’t have a map created, click on the “Add New Items” button. Then select, “New Map” and give it a name.
2. CLICK ON THE ADD MENU
Once you’ve opened your map, click on the “Add” menu in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Select “Draw Custom”
Once the “Add” menu is opened, hover over the “Territories” option. Then select the “Draw Custom” option to open the “Add Territories” wizard.
4. CLICK “STYLE” TO CUSTOMIZE THE TERRITORIES
Click the “Style” button to open the styling menu. Select the fill and border colors by selecting preset colors or using hex codes for custom colors. You set the opacity and weight of the fill and border as well. Those settings will be applied to all future territories that are drawn. To change the style of territories that have already been drawn, click on “Style” in the dropdown menu for the territories.
5. ADD TERRITORIES AND CLICK “OK”
Add territories to your map by clicking on the map to draw the outline. As you move your mouse, you’ll see the area of the territory next to your cursor. Finish the territory by clicking on its starting point. Repeat these steps to add as many territories as you’d like. Click “Done” to close the wizard.
6. SEE A SUMMARY OF THE DATA WITHIN
After clicking “OK”, you can click inside any of the territories on the map. That will open a report that shows you all the locations within that area, and that info can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet.
