Be wowed again for yet another face of Mapline! Our new and improved logo comes with improved performance and features as well. Along with the logo we’ve updated our heat maps. Learn more about that and check out the other new enhancements.
We’ve wasted no time this year to improve Mapline, and you can expect updates throughout the year. We’ve fixed some bugs, improved one of our features, and added additional columns to your datasets as well.
As 2017 comes to a close, we finished it off by making more updates to the software. Now Mapline users will have more customization and flexibility with their maps.
A few weeks ago, we made a huge release to improve the Mapline application, and we aren’t slowing down. We’ve continued to make changes to help you have faster and cleaner maps.
The biggest changes are here, and they’re taking the mapping experience to a whole new level! Since it’s Mapline’s goal to exceed the expectations of our users, here are the changes that we designed and developed over the past few months to bring you the best mapping experience in the most time-efficient ways.
There’s mapping and there’s Mapline mapping. The difference? Performance! We believe that with better mapping performance comes better results and faster analysis. So we are proud to announce that for the new roll out, our users will be able to have faster mapping experience. Try it out now and speed up your data analysis!
Sharing Enhancements
Another equally important roll out is the enhancement in map sharing option. First, users to whom the maps that are shared with edit permissions can no longer delete a map. Instead, the owner of the map or the administrator can just un-share the map with them. When a user is trying to delete a map, a message prompt will appear:
Second, when sharing a map with a user’s dataset, a message prompt will appear asking the owner of the map if the datasets should be shared as well:
Third, a shared map can only be duplicated when it is shared to someone with edit permission.
