How to Draw Lines on a Map

Measure distances on your map with lines.

1. Open your Map
You can open your map by single clicking the name, double clicking anywhere on the row, or by single clicking on the row and clicking the "Open" button. If you don't have a map created, click on the "Add New Items" button. Then select, "New Map" and give it a name.
2. Click on the Add Menu
Once you've opened your map, click on the "Add" menu in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Select "Lines"
Once the "Add" menu is opened, hover over the "Shapes" option. Then select the "Lines" option to open the "Add Lines" wizard.
4. Click "Style" to Customize the Lines
Click the "Style" button to open the styling menu. Select the color of the lines you add by using preset colors or custom colors with hex codes. You set the opacity and weight of the line as well. Those settings will be applied to all future lines that are drawn. To change the style of lines that have already been drawn, click on "Style" in the dropdown menu for the lines.
5. Add Lines and Click "OK"
Add lines to your map by clicking on the map to create a point. Then as you move your mouse to create the second point, you'll see the distance of the line next to your cursor. Finish the line by clicking on the last point. Repeat these steps to add as many lines as you'd like. Click "Done" to close the wizard.

If you want to draw lines, follow these steps:
  1. Open your map.
  2. Click “Add.”
  3. Select the type of shape you want to draw. (Polylines or Circles)
  4. Draw lines by clicking to make points on the shape.
  5. Click “Style” to change the color and border of the shapes.
  6. Click “Done.”
  7. Now, click on the line your map to see the straight line distance.
